Bee Nucleus Colony--DEPOSIT

Want to get started keeping bees this year? A nucleus colony is a great way to start! You'll receive 5 deep frames of bees, containing 1 mated queen, and frames of brood in all stages, and plenty of resources. The amount listed is the deposit for your nuc--this is holding your spot! The balance of $100 is due when you pickup your bees.

When you check out, select a type of queen.

--Overwintered queens are 2024 queens who are proven and who have never gone through a spring buildup. These nucs will be available for pickup on Saturday, May 17.

--2025 queens are locally grafted and mated, northern Michigan queens. These nucs will be available for pickup on Saturday, June 7.

Pickup dates may vary based on the weather this spring. I will keep you updated if your expected pickup date is going to change.

Bees are sold for pickup only. I can't ship bees to you. Before your pickup date, I will email specific directions to the pickup location.
